50% Syrah – from vines younger than for the “Vent d’Est” cuvée,  40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Grenache. The grapes are harvested by hand.

Réquieu is a wine of character made from isolated parcels located in the Montagne Noire (350 meters high), between garrigue and pine forest. Natural yeast fermentation after a long maceration in the gravity-flow winery. The Carayols eschew wood in order to bring out the garrigue and ripe fruit elements of the terroir. Generous, it combines the tannic structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon with spicy and fruity notes coming from the Syrah (whole clusters) and the Grenache. 14 % alcohol.
