The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Grand is a blend of grapes from Paraje Altamira and Perdriel aged for 12 months in French barrels. A rich garnet in color. The ripe nose offers notes of blackcurrant and plum with black tea and elegant aromas from the aging process such as cedar and sandalwood as well as a hint of pepper. Broad and sugary with a fine texture and slightly reactive tannins, it delivers good grip and character along with mild but sustained freshness. The compelling finish contains traces of oak.

Made with grapes from high-altitude vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley, this Cabernet shows varietal expression. The nose is austere, but the palate is more generous, offering bay leaf, thyme, strawberry, raspberry and tobacco. It has a soft texture and a fresh finish.

A tad ripe, showing plum paste and cherry preserve flavors, with a backdrop of fresh tobacco and herbs. Reveals a nice lift of minerally acidity on the finish. Drink now. 1,000 cases made, 270 cases imported.
